Hello ~ Thanks for Visiting!
'What does a designer do that a contractor doesn't or that you can't do on your own?'
"The gift of a decorator is the ability to visualize the finished project."
The time and money you spend trying to decorate on your own may not get the results you hoped for. A designer begins with your ideas for the project, interprets those into a design plan and oversees the project coordinating every detail so the end result is just what you expected.
Designers have developed a team of reliable contractors.
A room redesign could require a master carpenter, plumber, painter and electrician [trades a contractor would have on his team]. It would also most likely require a seamstress, a frame shop and an upholsterer [trades a contractor is unlikely to have]. I have been fortunate to find these and other excellent tradespeople needed to accomplish my designs.
A Designer brings Energy to a project.
I love seeing rooms transformed into enjoyable, usable spaces which energizes me to keep the project moving. I'm excited to work alongside you to see your dreams become reality and offer some unique designer touches along the way.
With DecoRXpectations, you'll love the result
or we're not done. Twelve years of satisfied clients on projects from freshening
colors for a room to kitchen renovation is a record you can trust.
